butterfly champion
Regan has cleaned up across the board, winning three Olympic medals and four World Championship titles. Specializing in backstroke and butterfly, she is the world junior record holder in the women's long course 100-meter backstroke and 200-meter backstroke and a former world record holder.
At the World Aquatics Championships, she won individual gold medals in the 200-meter backstroke and the 100-meter backstroke and a relay gold medal swimming the backstroke leg of the 4x100 medley relay.
17-year-old record breaker
Regan broke her first World Record at the age of 17, shattering Missy Franklin’s previous record.
