Graduating with Olympic Glory

Originally from Ontario, Kylie now lives in Spain and swims for the Toronto Swim Club under coach Ben Titley. In 2014 in her junior years, she was ranked 201st overall in the global rankings. Just two years later she competed at her first Olympics and won a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke. Recently she qualified for her third Canadian Olympic team while also graduating in kinesiology from the University of Toronto at the same time.

Trailblazing achievements

At the 2024 Olympic Trials, Kylie dominated the 100 and 200m backstroke events, securing her spot for Paris. Her stellar performance at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics earned her two silver medals and a new Canadian record in the 200m backstroke. Over her career, Kylie has amassed four Olympic medals, seven World Championship medals, and multiple Commonwealth and Pan Pacific titles. She made history as the first Canadian to win gold at three consecutive World Aquatics Championships and holds the title of the most decorated Canadian FINA swimmer with 11 medals.
